Florida

Joey had been telling me that he had a meeting in Florida in September, but like most of his work meetings I didn't think too much about it......Until he sent me his itinerary about 2 weeks before the trip and I realized it was at a resort on the beach!! Needless to say within hours of my discovery I had tickets booked for the kids and I to go along. As an added bonus I was able to route our trip through phoenix for a week long visit which included Owen's 6th Birthday!! It was a great trip, I just wish Joey could have been able to play with us, but I guess someone has to work around here!!

Jet setters

I don't know how I get so behind. Here are a few pictures of our Florida and Arizona trip.


The kids were super excited that over the course of 10 days they got to fly on 5 different planes. I was a little worried about this, but they actually did really great!!

Peter Pan

We took the kids to see Peter Pan, it was an amazing show and the kids actually made it through the entire thing. It stated at 8 which is bedtime and wasn't over until after 11 but they were so into it. It was magical!!

Rowing again????

Joey is making a come back for the 2012 olympics!! Just kidding, he was invited to row in a dedication ceremony for the finish line tower on the Oklahoma River. http://newsok.com/chesapeake-finish-line-tower-to-provide-oklahoma-city-rowing-with-even-more-opportunities/article/3604178

He got to row in his old Olympic boat which still holds the World record.

The kids have never seen this side of Joey's life so it was really fun for them to watch him row.

First soccer games

The kids both had their first soccer games this past Saturday and they did great!! Both kids scored a goal in each of their games.

It's official......we live in Oklahoma!!
